Accessibility statement
Last updated October 28, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use WildBlueLake.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We do not claim full conformance, and we keep working on it.
What this site does
- A “Skip to content” link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches on every page.
- Every link, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard, and shows a visible outline when it has focus.
- The main menu is labeled for screen readers, and the mobile menu button reports whether it is open or closed.
- Each page has one main heading, with section headings in order beneath it.
- Photos of homes and amenities have text descriptions. Purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Every form field has a visible label, and the consent checkbox is a standard checkbox that is never required.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, scrolling animations and transitions are turned off.
- Text reflows to fit phone screens without sideways scrolling, and the site follows your device’s light or dark setting.
- We do not use an accessibility overlay or widget. Those tools can interfere with the screen reader and browser settings you have already set up, so we work on the site itself instead.
Where the site falls short
The WildBlue home search is provided by Estero Bay Group and the MLS. It is third-party software that we do not build or control, and parts of it may not work well with assistive technology.
If the search gets in your way, call or email us. We will run the search for you and send the results in whatever format works best for you, whether that is a phone call, a plain-text email or a large-print list.
Report a problem
If anything on this site is hard to use, please tell us what page you were on and what happened. We will respond within two business days.
